Streamline Solutions, originally established as Sublime Group Limited in 2004, has a rich history of innovation in business process automation and workflow technologies. Founded in Auckland, New Zealand, the company quickly built a reputation for helping organizations streamline back-office operations, reduce manual workloads, and improve efficiency through intelligent automation and cloud-based solutions.
As Sublime’s offerings and client base expanded, the company rebranded as Streamline Solutions and became a key part of the Streamline Business Group. This transition reflected its broader mission: to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade automation and document management solutions—such as Indeks and PlusOne—to a diverse range of industries, including finance, manufacturing, non-profit, and education. Streamline Solutions became known for replacing up to 80% of manual data entry, increasing accuracy, and integrating seamlessly with common ERP systems.
In April 2025, marking the next stage of its evolution, Streamline Solutions underwent a significant rebranding to become Laminar Solutions Limited. This change was driven by a desire to better represent the company’s forward-thinking approach and its commitment to delivering seamless, intuitive, and innovative business solutions. Now operating as Laminar, the company continues to build on its legacy—offering unified, customizable workflow and automation platforms that empower organizations to unlock new efficiencies and drive sustainable growth.
Today, Laminar Solutions Limited stands as a testament to two decades of transformation, client focus, and technological leadership. As part of the Streamline Business Group, it remains dedicated to developing solutions that connect ideas, technology, and people—helping businesses thrive in an increasingly digital world
I’m a chartered accountant who’s learned how to change a lightbulb using only my teeth, while standing in a overflowing bath and balancing the toaster on my head. Of course the toaster’s fallen in the bath more than once, but I learnt a little each time. Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a pilot or an astronaut, I settled for the next best thing, being an accountant with an astronomical appetite for technology.
I find my energy through sharing and connecting ideas to solve hard problems. I have found over and over again that what is difficult or hard to me, is solved through persistent searching, questioning and sharing. Meaningful friendships are built up over time, and especially when it’s hard, there is nothing like coming out the other side together. Business is about people and partnering with good people making it meaningful.
My approach is always top down, and working bottom up, ensuring the big ideas connect and deliver real results, supported by detailed analysis & people’s experience. If the outcomes you’re aiming for are clear, measured and understood, people can get behind you; how you get there will continue to change as you learn along the way. If the team can embrace everyday as an opportunity to learn and improve, we can all strive to do it a little better each time.
I believe the use of data and technology requires a very deliberate approach and structure, driven with a business led strategic purpose. When digital prioritisation is guided by a customer experience framework, with well-defined benefits and measures, outcomes achieve the internal momentum you were aiming for.
Technology Entrepreneur and Business Builder
Technology and growing great companies are the inspirations in my working life. I’m a seasoned leader with a history of building great teams, developing B2B solutions, and helping customers find better ways to do business.
One example is Auckland-based Solution Dynamics Limited, which I founded in 1996 as Marketing Data Services and listed in 2004. SDL is now a thriving provider of direct customer communications; its solutions link customers to more than 40 million users worldwide.
My current passion: Streamline Business Group Limited and its five companies: Streamline Solutions, Admin Army, Acume, Ripple4Charities, and Ripple4Schools. They’re all at different stages of growth, but they share the same goal-accelerating business growth by unlocking resource and technology constraints. If that sounds like your mission too, let’s talk
I’ve been an innovator in the digital economy in NZ, Australia, and Asia for over 20 years, with the last 12 years focused on the global network security and telematics markets. I founded and led telematics company Coretex (acquired by EROAD in 2021) and was previously co-founder, CEO, and chairman of Endace, the first New Zealand-registered company to list on the UK’s AIM stock market. It’s a path that has given me deep experience in international sales, marketing, strategic planning, and supply chain management in small start-ups through to multi-billion dollar corporations.
For me, it’s all about building companies and creating high-value jobs that contribute to a sustainable, high-wage, high-growth, hi-tech economy.
My expertise spans development, deployment management, and team coordination, allowing me to bridge the gap between technical execution and project success.
I’ve evolved from a full-stack Developer to a dual role where I contribute to codebases while managing release cycles, coordinating development activities, and facilitating client and business stakeholder communications.
Combining my technical foundations with project management capabilities enables me to drive initiatives that deliver both technical excellence and business value. I’m committed to continuous improvement in both technical skills and leadership practices, focusing on creating efficient processes and fostering team collaboration for optimal project outcomes.
With over 11 years of experience in full-stack development, I specialize in building and scaling enterprise web applications using Laravel, Vue.js, React, Angular, Node.js, and MySQL.
As a Tech Lead, I focus on clean architecture, performance optimization, and team mentorship. I’ve led development teams through complex projects including Chrome extensions and mobile applications built with React Native and Flutter.
I also manage infrastructure and deployments using AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and smooth delivery pipelines across environments. I’m passionate about solving real-world problems through elegant, maintainable code and fostering a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.
As a Technical Services Manager, I oversee quality assurance teams and non-traditional programming work across various sectors, with significant experience in fintech environments. I collaborate with my teams to identify root causes of complex issues, streamline testing processes, and drive meaningful quality improvements. My approach combines hands-on leadership with empowering team members to excel in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, creating resilient QA frameworks that adapt to evolving business needs.
My background in Data Science and Business Analytics allows me to bring strong analytical skills to quality assurance work, guiding data-informed decision-making within my teams. I apply this analytical mindset when building digital communication workflows and tools that enhance collaboration between technical and business stakeholders. Over the years, I’ve taken on roles that require versatility, curiosity, and a collaborative problem-solving approach across multiple domains and technologies.
I’m an Engineering Manager with 15+ years in the tech world — started off as a full-stack developer, climbed the ranks, and now I get to build cool stuff and help great teams do their best work.
Along the way, I picked up some serious skills in cloud architecture (yes, AWS is my playground), building scalable systems, and figuring out how to turn complex problems into practical solutions that actually help businesses run better.
I’ve worked with all kinds of people — product folks, finance teams, stakeholders of all stripes — and I really enjoy translating big ideas into real results. I’m a big fan of agile and lean ways of working, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a team grow, own their work, and crush it.
Oh, and I’m not just about the code. I’ve also run IT operations, tightened up cybersecurity, and made systems smoother and smarter. Bonus: I’ve got a solid handle on accounting practices and software too — so finance doesn’t scare me. In fact, I kinda like it.
Always up for a challenge, always learning, and always trying to leave things better than I found them.

Nickie had firsthand experience with the benefits of outsourcing from her previous roles and wanted to integrate it into Trio Accounting’s operations. The challenge was to find a partner that could deliver high quality accounting support.
